Muhammad Atif Khan is a highly acclaimed Pakistani artist known for his excellence in printmaking and digital arts. He graduated with distinction from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 1997, marking the beginning of an illustrious career. Over the past 25 years, Khan has earned international recognition, receiving prestigious awards such as the UNESCO-Aschberg Bursary for Artists in 1999 and the Commonwealth Arts & Crafts Award in 2007. Khan has participated in multiple international residencies, including at the Swansea Print Workshop (Wales), London Print Studio (England), and Glasgow Print Studio (Scotland). His work has been exhibited in esteemed museums such as the Aga Khan Museum (Toronto), Bradford Museum (UK), Sharjah Art Museum (UAE), and the Islamic Museum of Australia. In addition to his impressive 23 solo exhibitions worldwide, Khan also played a pivotal role as co-curator of the Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh in 2022. Khan's public art installation, "City within a City," created for the Lahore Biennale Foundation’s Intersections project, is a testament to his ability to merge art with urban landscapes. His accolades include the ADA Award (2020-21) for Digital Arts and the Nigaah Art Award (2023) for Printmaking.
