R. M. Naeem
R.M. Naeem, born in 1968 in Mirpurkhas, Pakistan, is a celebrated artist, educator, and curator whose contributions to art have earned him the President’s Award for Pride of Performance (2023), the National Award for Excellence (2003), and multiple provincial awards in 1991 and 1992. A graduate with distinction in Fine Arts from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore (1993), he has been a cornerstone of the institution as an Assistant Professor since 1994 and received the Associateship of NCA in 2019. Over his illustrious 27-year career, Naeem has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in countless group shows across Pakistan and internationally, including the Asian Art Biennale (Bangladesh), the International Artists' Biennale (Iran), Art Expo Malaysia, and Art Fest Karachi. His works have been featured in the USA, UK, France, China, Singapore, India, and more, gaining recognition from prestigious platforms like Saatchi’s "100 Curators, 100 Days" show. Naeem is not just an artist but a mentor and advocate for the arts. Through Studio RM, established in 1994, he has nurtured talent via workshops and residencies. His Studio RM (International) Residency Program in Lahore, initiated in 2008, continues to foster artistic exchange. Inked has had the honor of providing fine art printing services for R.M.
